Curated by Artist & Writer Mieke Marple and Vellum LA’s Sinziana Velicescu, the Auction Will Support Girls Who Code and Be Displayed as Public Art Across the Globe
Today, the leading online art marketplace, Artsy, announces “Artists Who Code,” an auction of generative NFTs by women and nonbinary artists, curated by artist and writer Mieke Marple and Sinziana Velicescu of Vellum LA. As part of Artsy’s mission to empower women and nonbinary creators, a portion of the proceeds from the auction will be donated to the nonprofit Girls Who Code, whose mission is to close the gender gap in technology and change the image of what a programmer looks like.
