Remi Rough began his creative journey as a graffiti artist in 1984 and soon became renowned for his slick style writing and big wall productions. Over a career spanning 38 years his work has developed into a distinctive visual language inspired by Constructivism, De Stijl and modernism.

He has exhibited his dynamic geometric works in galleries and museums internationally. Some of his notable projects include the Megaro Hotel (the largest mural in London), a 100 metre long mural installation for Art Basel in Hong Kong’s MTR and The VCU Honors college building in Richmond, Virginia.

Remi is one of very few artists whose career is successfully situated in both the world of graffiti and the wider art world, as he prepares to open an exciting new show at Fort Wayne Museum of Art this summer.
