Place is about people. A neighbourhood’s landscape may change, but it’s the people who really define its character.

SOMEONE OF SOHO is a series of portraits by photographer Richard Piercy featuring residents and workers from the local community. It’s the people who make places, says Richard. ‘The deserted streets of Soho during the pandemic lockdown has only served to highlight this.’

‘The purpose of this exhibition is to restore some humanity and positivity to an area I have been heavily involved with for over 30 years. The people featured here are just a few of the many who contribute to the character and soul of this unique pocket of London.’

THE SOHO SOCIETY is proud to be associated with this community-based arts project.
